tilepay`s platform leverages the emerging Internet of Things (IoT) market. The platform enables registration via a wide variety of connected devices, using the sensors to obtain data regarding consumer use of the devices per their choice, verifying the authenticity of the data, and publishing the verified data on the tilepay web marketplace.

The online web marketplace for MAKERS (IoT Owners) and BUYERS (people, corporations, manufacturers, etc.) conduct all transactions with bitcoin and/or multiple currencies. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency used around the globe as a means of eliminating the need for currency conversions and allowing for many very small transactions (also referred to as “micropayments”).

With bitcoin alone we could do it without this 'Micropayments Platform'. It will be basically PayPal of cryptocurrencies, right?
With bitcoin I don't have to register to some service to send money anywhere I want to.
It will be another 3rd party service which will try to capitalize on rising popularity of bitcoin imo.

Hmm. Sounds a lot like another coin I've heard of called Bitcoin. I can't see what this does that Bitcoin effectively can't/won't now or in the future.

Im not sure what is this about but it seems like it's working on the blockchain. Anyway, this seems redundant and there are probably other ways to go about this. All the off-chain transactions stuff will be deal with with the Lightning Network most likely. The entire world doesnt need to know I bought a cup of coffee in starbucks so LN could take care of that. Of course ideally every single transaction ever would go under the blockchain but not sure if its viable long term.

1.) TESTNET v.0.5.0
1.1) Create an account via https://testnet.counterwallet.io
1.2) Double-click the testnetTilepay.bat/.sh that will automatically run the .jar file and it opens the default browser. We have not tested it on any Internet Explorer browser.
1.3) Request testnet from http://tpfaucet.appspot.com/and send to https://testnet.counterwallet.io address and TilePay BTC address.
1.4) Burn BTC for XCP and then "Create Asset (Token)
1.5) Send tokens to new Tilepay local wallet

The SPV implementation is for bitcoin at the moment. The "metacoin" spv implementation that could be used for XCP/MSC/XTC (metacoins) is being worked on by MIT. It is called VerSum.

2.) Asset/Tokens
2.1) Click on Markets to create Asset (Token). "Burning" of Tilecoinxtc is working. We will start with 50 TILECOINXTC per Asset of Sensors.

3.) IoT
3.1) For anyone who is testing the IoT functionality. Please contact us directly via info@tilepay.org to schedule "BETA" access.
3.2.) Balance Available from Balance tab includes testnet bitcoin that have been sent to IoT testnet bitcoin address.
3.3) Download IoT client and then upload to Raspberry Pi B+ and run .jar to be able to Register IoT device.
