<Full Disclosure: I voted yes ONLY once.>

Would it be feasible for a comedian or comedienne (that's a weird fucked up spelling) to film their stand-up comic routine sans an audience, i.e., totally isolated somewhere outdoors (albeit some eccentric indoor(s) venue would also suffice, e.g., an abandoned home, factory or bomb shelter, or cave) like in a desert, on an isolated beach, deep in a forest, etc., then uploading such on YouTube, et al., to amass a formidable following?

Carrying the premise forward, once established, the comic would have his performance(s) presented live (paid-for-view?) where they would not be able to see, nor react to an audience. Further, ALL interviews would be conducted with the comic in isolation with them only responding to questions posed à la their comic style, unaware of any reactions stemming from the interviewer's camp.

The comic would travel the world seeking out venues to perform at/from, perhaps (I guess that'll be a given), taking suggestions as to where to stage subsequent performances for the tour.

One more thing, the artist may consider changing their name to one reflecting the comic premise, e.g., I. Soo Lated.

The main challenge I see is that the material would have to be well written and optimally executed to garner the desired affect - laughs and a following. But if achieved, the artist would be the first to accomplish said act, I believe, then have their very own Wikipedia write-up.

Thoughts?!
