I have a bot that will read RSS feeds, but I want to connect it to a couple of threads on this forum.  Not sure how to do it.  (not a programmer. hahaha)

I don't think there is a way... Maybe making a bot account that somehow feeds your watchlist page to an RSS feed?

Just watch the threads you want and keep your Watchlist page bookmarked Smiley Seems a lot of work for something so simple.

I only know that there is a way to get a feed for certain subforums. For example:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=7.0;type=rss;action=.xml;sa=news&limit=50

Will give you the 50 newest Posts of Economics subforum. Simply put the board number in and the limit.

Saying that... you might want to experiment if that works with threads somehow too. Normally the easy solution should be to get a notification mail for these threads. Simply click on notify on the top right or bottom of that thread.

Thunderbird then could move the mail to a directory you specify.

it won't work with threads (at least from my experiments).
also the only available sub-action are "recent", "news", "profile", and "members".

there was a site that can generate an rss link for a specific thread, but it no longer works. gimme a sec and I'll fetch it.

here it is.

maybe someone can create something similar?
