Well, the game of DICE has been around for a very long time, the only thing really that changes in this instance we talk about is the currency used to play with. sure technology has spurred it along to pretty incredible levels such as the bitcoin equivalents of it, but largely, just as the game has been around for generations, so has there been some interesting very profitable wins, and some down right heavy losses.

I enjoy the DICE game's, I agree it's fast, however that's where the auto playing bots come into play, and what I mean by that is, it doesn't change the speed, however you can govern the rolls, the bet increments, the win/loss increase, I think if you do your research, spend some time understanding the fundamentals, and make "smart calculated risks" I think in the long run, you can profit.

DICE Games or "Gambling" for that matter, is not the issue or disease or reason for any "misfortune" it starts with a human, making a choice to partake, and if he is weak willed and really pushes things out of bounds to a point where he is at a serious loss and in trouble, he largely brings that upon himself, any gambling mechanism wasn't invented to ensure every single individual on earth would "get his share"

All you get is, a simple statement to say that you can take a gamble and boy ohh boy can it pay off, IF IF IF you get it. For every action, there is an opposite and equal re-action.

Here's a Scenario, you never see/hear/read of it because humans are for the most part incapable of doing it:

If you played any Gambling related game, and you give yourself a floor and set amount to work with, and you vouch to completely stop for that particular instance the moment you have profited 3% from the floor, and return only the next day, what is the outcome of that?

That's the difference, mindset and clear calculated risks that make sense and WILL pay off in the long run, or a super lucky situation that also of course halves the time and is awesome, or the complete opposite.

It's let my gambling addiction continue as banks etc. (and i do mean etc.) wanted nothing to do with me anymore. It was a damn hassle funding off-shore books with fiat at the end of that chapter of my life.

However, i do like how i have a choice to continue to gamble or not. In no way am i implying bitcoin is at fault for my addiction.

In short: some days i love BTC, some days i do not  Smiley

I like your last statement, and that's largely as far as it needs to go, with many aspects of life, other than gambling, you can apply the same principle.

I think the alluring idea of that "big win" will forever be enough to entice people to return over and over and over again, and now you add stuff like online ease, simple use of services, maybe simple fiat payments/cards/withdrawals/loyalty programs etc...

There are so many things that can and are introduced into the Gambling world to keep people around, And well, if you look at lets say "top 10 pay outs for this week" and it's accurate true information from the Gambling service, then you would see, they actually do fork out a fair amount of funds back to the players, the number of players is small, the rewards are not, everybody is largely working kinda "together" and the winner takes some of my money/some of yours/the next guy and so on, vicious circle, but a business model nonetheless.

rather than the possibility of a "big win" being the main thing driving people to keep on gambling (dont get me wrong, it does), i think the bigger influence is the notion that money can be made with minimal effort, which i think the the fundamental idea that attracts people to gambling in the first place as well. what's better than doubling your money with the click of a button? or even just being dealt a blackjack and having 1.5x of your bet given to you on a silver platter? bonuses such as rake backs, loyalty/rewards programs are nice, but theyre not the driving force that has people gambling.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

I've been gambling for many years so discovering bitcoin gambling hasn't really made any major changes to my life.
It's just given me somewhere else to gamble in another way. I've won some decent amounts but I've lost lots of times too so as far as impacting my life it hasn't really changed anything Smiley

I have discovered Bitcoin gambling last year in November. Until then I was seeing some ads but haven't really payed attention. It was amazing to me at the first moment how easy was to gamble with your bitcoins. Yes, you had to trust the site operator, but if you read the reviews on this forum, you were pretty much sure that they are legit. So I tried. Hassle free, no verification, sending documents etc.. I was amazed. One site even pays you money directly to the wanted address, I won't mention names so it doesn't seem that I am endorsing their services.

So I kept going and going. At the end I have lost about 1 BTC altogether. Luckily I was strong enough to never ever place a single bet after December of last year. I have bet mainly on sports by the way.

This ease of use also got me thinking, help God to those that are not strong enough. This is a sure recipe to lose all of their coins. This is definitely something to think about.

I knew about gambling since I knew bitcoin and bitcointalk's gambling section.
At the first glance, I couldn't control my greed to gamble so at the end I suffer much loss. Ofcourse it hurt me alot but I realize this is gambling , there will be a risk if you want to won something big

For me it has been an upward ride. I have mostly played only poker with bitcoin ,and I have also played live extensively. Overall it has only been good and has helped me play without any restrictions that exist in my country and has allowed me to build a good bankroll too.

I have also had some downward swings by being a degen on dice sites.

Actually I lost a nice amount of bitcoin.
But at the end I learn't a lot from that, now I understand the house edge and I comply with the never gamble if more than you can afford to loose.
It made me a bit more conservative and cautions when it comes to managing my financial assets.

Greed is pure instinct, we must fight against ourselves.
