Hi, I am new to Bitcoin and I have a question. I created a xapo wallet for Farmsatoshi and I thought that this wallet is for storing Bitcoins. Then I started earning Bitcoins through other sites like dailybitcoins, freebit.co.in, bitcoinshowers, bitcoinzebra etc. And I could not send bitocins to my xapo wallet but to other accounts I had to make. I would like to know: is xapo wallet like a universal wallet for all Bitcoins? Can I transfer bitcoins from others sites mentioned above to my xapo wallet because I would like to keep all my earnings in one wallet? English is not my first language so sorry for mistakes. Smiley And i have read that xapo wallet is not the best for beginners, so my next question is: is there an universal wallet where all bitcoin earnings can be stored, for example blockchain wallet? Thanks

Xapo should have method to receive payment , I never used it but you should search for something like Deposit adress you should be able to receive payments from that .

Xapo is not very used , the most used Online wallet is Blockchain.info however online wallets or exchange aren't recommended to store your BTC at least not big amounts for long terms , you should go with something like Bitcoin Core (downloading huge +35GB file) , Electrum or Multibit HD .

If I had to choose then I would choose Electrum , there is a seed you should write it on a piece of paper in case something happens to your PC you could recover your wallet and yes it's Universall wallets and used by a lot of people and you can receive any BTC payment . Check their official website : http://electrum.org/

Feel free to ask any question if you have any Smiley I will be glad to answer

Yes you can as far as I know even if I never used Xapo before . if there is a send tab on Xapo , go to it
and go to "Receive" Tab on Electrum , copy one of the adresses and paste it on the "Send" tab of Xapo then send from Xapo to Electrum it's that's simple Grin

Indead farmsatoshi is need a xapo wallet for WD.
If you want to store your main balance, it's mean big amount of your coins, my advice is use cold wallet or desktop wallet, https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet , Don't store big amount on web wallet and exchanger.

Yes, when in your Xapo wallet click on "My Address" and a QR code and  your address will appear. Copy the address and past it into the site from which you wish to send your bitcoin (or faucet site or whatever).

Also, check out Xapo's mobile app and faucet!

I would say that the safest wallet to store large amount of coins is paper wallet.
