Creating your own currency is about as stupid as you can get so why would they ?

i agree with you, what these morons need is reality check. this is the reason why they fall for every shitcoins popping out, i guessed in their head this shitcoin could rule the world someday.
all the scammers need to do is just sparking these shitcoins with fake volume and fake buy walls on bittrex and every dumb morons throwing their btc at it.

And i agree, it's very unlikely fiat currency will ever be replaced by any cryptocurrency. If the problem becomes too big for governments they will simply create regulations to make it harder for the average person to use them, and i hope you sold all of your coins by the time this happened...
It's quite funny to see people bashing other coins though, while the sole purpose of all coins is to make money anyways. Why do people buy Bitcoin? So they can buy stuff online? So they can pay their bills?
I think the main thing we need instead of discussing adoption of even Bitcoin is to make the current financial system transparent, which is possible through the innovative technology Bitcoin brought us.
