Post a video of you interviewing yourself, containing the speech similar what you'll give to this guy. Surely after that you'll get support from these boards.

Good luck,
Garrett

Here is a video taken of me promoting bitcoins at an occupy rally about a year ago. Ive talked to a lot of people since then, and my skill at sharing bitcoin has continued to develop.

I think you need to have a bitlot more knowledge of the internals of Bitcoin before having people give you money to present it. At least get a solid outline that you can mentally refer to instead of being like most of us and randomly pulling out awesome facts haha. Emphasis on decentralization, explain the public/private key cryptography and how it works in layman's terms, and throw in some good historical facts as well.

Pull together a video of an updated presentation and I'll give some coins. Surely this will boost the confidence from others as well.

I heard back again from the Garret who runs the Upriser project.

"You got it, man. I love Bitcoin!  We're planning to make Bitcoin a big part of UPRISER. I'd love to have you help us do this."

Being that the $2500 is going to help fund UPRISER _and_ get bitcoin integration on their site, as well as inform a larger audience about bitcoin..this is a no brainer good deal that we should be supporting.

If you are considering donating and want to know if I would represent bitcoin well, I would be happy to do a call with you and answer any questions.
I have a few videos in progress, but it may be some time before they are released.

Let me get this straight.  Does the $2500 guarantee you a spot on the advisory board - because if it does every hustler who can come up with $2500 is going to buy themselves a spot on the board and the organisation itself will be viewed as a farce.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

I also need money for this exact reason.

I pinky-swear that's what I'll use it for, too.

Its actually not that much different from the Bitcoin Foundation, with Mark Karpeles on the board, and Mtgox being a major sponsor. Its simply a matter of putting your money where your mouth is in order to take action to make ideas a reality.
