Hello there. I was wondering if there's any service out there where I as an individual could use to direct other people's bitcoin donations to a publicly used account meant for donations.

Example, I want to urge people to donate to x party with bitcoin. x party only accepts bank deposits. I would need a trusted service that would convert all incoming transactions for the operation I set up to FIAT and send it to the bank address.

i'd try localbitcoins. someone may be interested in doing this because of taxes (because its essentially buying bitcoins for him; but for the feds it looks like donation to a (potentially) charity).

but you need to find someone really trustable and/or good escrow for this as i dont know how to proof that the money has been sent.

XMR || Monero || monerodice.net || xmr.to || mymonero.com || openalias.org || you think bitcoin is fungible? watch this

Hmm.. I'd be more interested on finding a service backed by a company to do this. Like bitpay for example. But I know bitpay in specific isn't available for individuals to set up donation campaigns. IMO there a are trust reasons that would prevent some people from donating through an anonymous third party.

AFAIK changetip is allowed you to WD your amount to fiat.
why not to transfer it through bank address directly Huh

I'm not sure changetip would do the job. There are certain organizations that already accept donations through means like bank transfers or paypal but won't accept bitcoin. I'd be looking for a way for me as a third person to set up a campaign where donated BTC would be converted to FIAT and sent to their bank accounts. Without people having to put their trust on me on ebing honest with the liquidation of BTC though.

Sorta how bitpay converts received BTC and sends them to a bank account of the recipient, but this service would have to be set up from someone other than the party on the end of the transaction.

Well I think that service like this doesn't exist, at least not a direct service. Maybe some work around would work.

Anyways, here is a nice idea of you would like to start a new Bitcoin start-up. I am not sure how successful this would be though!

Update: I tryied to sign up a BitPay account with the details of the party I mentioned. Steps require Government document as proof of identity to start having access to services. So BitPay is 100% out. I'll might try a crowdfunding website tomorrow.

I guess if you can't find a service that already does this, then it would be a relatively good idea for an escrow to adopt this as well...? Maybe not, since it would be a bit busy for them to exchange it to the desired funds.

You can use a coinbase wallet to do all the actions you want. Send in this wallet all the bitcoins then convert those in us dollar and then from there in one bank account. But the problem is that all this things cannot be made from every country. You try. Open a coinbase wallet (is free) and see if everything can be made from your country.

Seems like crowdfunding websites aren't that flexible. Seems like what I'm asking for isn't out there. I'll perhaps contact BitPay directly to ask if I could use their service to host a donation page redirecting payments to a bank account meant for donations without being related to the receiving party.
