Doge, UNO and i0 will demo how merge-mine works. (why they've have matured distros which is the main hiccup of MM).
Once the path is clear and evident then you will see a wave/explosion of coins again ... this time no mining.
Key then is the asset management and development via DAO model, think micro financing, but more like startJoin.
