Hi

Just bought an Antminer S1 for 50 USD. Free electricity is possible.

Now i want to mine something - just for fun. But i want to get some coins. So i won't mine BTC.

Only SHA-256 alternate cryptocurrencies. Correct?

so which one of these?

NMC – Namecoin
PPC – Peercoin
DVC – Devcoin
TRC – Terracoin
BTE – Bytecoin
IXC – Ixcoin
I0C – I0coin
FRC – Freicoin
XJO – Joulecoin
ZET – Zetacoin
ASC -AsicCoin
DEM – Deutsche eMark
UNO – Unobtanium
PT – Platinum Coin
BLC – Blakecoin
RKC – Reikicoin
TIT – Titcoin

Thanks a lot

Do some research and you will see that there aren't many interesting SHA256 coins unlike Scrypt coins. TIT gets pumped from time to time, UNO and PPC might probably be interesting. Take care when mining PPC, high difficulty and low block reward, you need some hashrate to get reasonable results. NMC is merged mined with BTC. ASC might be something for you, you'll get some coins and can later convert them to LTC (not BTC) on Cryptsy https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/ASC_LTC
