Okay, so I finally made it down to Venezuela to start a small mine.  Now that I am here on the ground I am working with my contacts to setup the infrastructure.

My initial plan was to use the 60,000 btu AC system to cool the space and not vent any heat outside.  Now that I see the setup, it has a perfect layout for blowing the hot air out of a window, and having the miners on a rack separating that space with the window from the rest of the apartment.

The intake for the miners will be nice and cold from the AC running 24/7, but I am not sure if I need a fan in the window, and if so, how many CFM's.  I feel like if I make the wall more or less airtight, the miners themselves become the fans, pressurizing the hot zone and letting the heat escape that way.  Because it is AC cooled on the intake side, I don't imagine I need the traditional 1000cfm per TH?  (This is all 0.75-1W/GH equipment).    Any thoughts on how you would set this up?

What miners are you using to make up the 10TH?  Some are much better then others, some run very hot.

AC is normally expensive to do to cool down.  But if your electricity really is that cheap and you have AC going this is going to be a big help dending on the AC unit.  How I made it through summer with around 14k watts worth of gear was trial/error.  I basically kept adding more CFM's of fan's and eventually a nice exhust fan.

But i know there are some who have equations on it that supposedly work.

I am waiting on more gear to arrive, but the end result will be probably 7 Asic Miner Tubes, and 20-26 S3's.

And yes, power is of no importance, only the safety of the building I am operating in.

I know HVAC.  Anyway you need to do a load calc and work from there.  So do a building load calc, figure your equipment load and how much cooling you will need to maintain the temperature you want.  Keep in mind you will want to expand this mine later on so consider your options. I don't know the temperature out in that area but you will probably need refrigerated air to maintain the temp as I'm guessing its hot year round out there.  Sorry there is no one answer fits all when it comes to this, you really need to just do the calculations to get somewhere in the ballpark so you can figure out what options you have.

From experience with cooling things down, you need to watch for the moisture in your area.  If the ventilation is not enough, you will build up moisture.  If the ventilation is to much, you will not be keeping enough cool air into the area to keep your miners cool.  I had an issues with something similar, not that much, but just a moisture with hardware cooled to quickly.  Just a little food for thought.
