Yeah, basic question, i live inside the EU and i heared a lot of complaints today that MtGox is scamming people, not transferring the money etc.
Is it bogus? Is it true? please tell me, i've only mined so far, but never sold. So is MtGox trustworthy?

MtGox had a day where 1 million USD worth of Bitcoins were sold, then a day where over 2 million USD worth of Bitcoins were sold. Do you think they would be able do that kind of volume if they were scamming people? Maybe, but they would have to be damn good at scamming.

There are delays, apparently they don't have enough manpower to keep up with the demand for Bitcoin.

Also, there are other ways to sell Bitcoins. MtGox is just one exchange.

I don't think mtgox is scamming anyone...I've been using mtgox for a while and while I've had issues here and there, they've always been resolved.  I think they are just struggling to keep up with the sheer volume of support they must be dealing with.  My suggestion is to be patient and keep following up until you get your issue resolved.

I have had requested 2 withdrawals from my account at MtGox, several days ago, but I have not receieved them yet.  At this point, I am feeling a little scammed Sad  I have also sent numerous emails to their support and have gotten nothing in response

They are having delays due to the increase in traffic. It will take a little while for them to hire enough staff to handle the demand.

Try tradehill, they are a mtgox clone and are pretty fast in withdrawing, offer a lot more methods than mtgox and much lower commission too. See my signature

That's strange, I requested a payout (SEPA) on sunday, and it arrived monday. And within 3-4 days they're having a "several days" delay due to increased traffic?

This was posted on Reddit by a mt gox admin

Yes, we're redditors.

We're absolutely inundated with email right now and have been battling to get Dwolla transactions functioning after they changed their API today. I saw some other threads in /r/bitcoin that I plan to address later on but we're barely sleeping trying to keep up with everything. Please be patient, if we do not answer emails right away it does NOT MEAN WE ARE RUNNING AWAY WITH YOUR MONEY.

Seriously, we're not.

We want to see Bitcoin substantiated as legal tender just as much as all of you and we aren't going to do anything short sighted, illegal or stupid to jeopardize that.

Thanks for all the support, and to the haters we're planning on putting every dime we can into lawyers, lobbying or whatever is necessary to ensure a place for the Bitcoin economy. Through the 0.65% trade fees you are directly supporting the future of Bitcoin.

EDIT Alright, it seems like you guys care a lot about what we're doing. Let's try to make a place to consolidate all of this feedback. I've created a new subreddit /r/MtGox where you can organize your feedback, suggestions, criticisms etc.

Viva la Bitcoin!

Would be nice if Mt.Gox actually put up a message on their own website.  It's pretty lame that we have to find out about these problems by reading these forums or reddit.

EDIT:  There is now a message about the withdrawal problem on the Mt.Gox homepage.  Thanks Mt.Gox!
