I have just sent two transaction of .025 to another Address, One of the transactions got sent twice (transaction malleability) and the other transaction did not. Still though one of the doubled transactions is conflicted, but also the regular transaction is appearing "conflicted" and I am wondering what this means?

My bitcoin balance is now -.0251 and I originally had .05.

What wallet are you using and can you give the txids?

I think I may have found a semi-solution.. I just emptied the wallet and archived it so it doesn't show in my total balance.
It's a blockchain wallet and it looks like it will be forever -.05 and tossed to the birds.

I will go out on limb here and assume you mean blockchain.info. You should get it out of your head that the service you use is the blockchain.

Without TX ID its difficult, but I assume the 2nd TX you created (not the modified 1st) spends change from the 1st. Due to the changed TX ID the 2nd TX points to a TX ID that was not confirmed, thus it shows as conflicted.

Contact their support and make sure they rescan the blockchain for your wallet.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Thanks for the clarification and the suggestion. You're absolutely right and I feel like a silly-kid for referring to it that way all the time Tongue

blockchain.info is what I meant, and I will contact their support whenever I get the chance. If I archive the address though and emptied all the would-be BTC, do I even have to worry about it anymore?

Dont beat yourself up about it, its pretty common.

You should assume that you only send the 1st TX, thus only 0.025 was send (-fees) and you should still have something left. If you managed to recover everything with that in mind I would probably still write them, but start migrating to a different wallet. E.g. I hear electrum 2.5 (latest) can now handle malleated transactions without issues.

I am currently in the process of migrating to a new wallet. I was thinking about just using QT/Core because that seems pretty consistent, but would I run into similar problems?

I have no issues with core. If there is something wrong with it I usually find a way to fix it, either myself or by asking in the tech support section. Some people seem to have problems with their hardware (disk/cpu) running it though.

Mate use whatever else you want, but don't use the blockchain.info. It's the worst wallet out there. You won't have half of the problems with any other wallet that you had with the blockchain.info.
