I can't figure out how to use the integrated graphics on my 3570K while mining with my 7970.

I have a MSI Z77A-GD65 board, but I can't figure out which settings to enable.

Virtu Technology [Disable/i-mode/d-mode]
Initiate Graphics Adapter [PEG/IGD]
IGD Multi monitor [Enable/Disable]

Is there a setting where I can game on my 3570k while mining on my 7970?

Do you have the AMD APP SDK installed? If you have a newer driver and the APP SDK installed most of the miners(I use cgminer) should pick it up. I know my card has to have an active display connected via HDMI, or it won't do work. I've heard somewhere about someone selling dummy plugs, but I'd get your card up and running first, then tweak your set up.

some motherboards, disable the onboard graphics if the PCI-E card has a video card in it ...

In the Beginning there was CPU , then GPU , then FPGA then ASIC, what next I hear to ask ....

You would have to enable both slots in the BIOS for example the on-board Graphics and the Graphics car Slot.  Usually they both come enabled unless you have purchased a branded machine IE: DELL, IBM.. so on..

If your smart enough to be doing mining, you'd be smart enough to stay away from that rubbish and build your own rig Wink
