The way I see it, only one of the
board members of The Bitcoin Foundation (TBF) may need to get paid at this juncture, and that's the lead developer, Gavin. The others seem to have a viable income source to sustain their livelihood, albeit I believe Gavin's wife does bring home some bacon with her career, but that shouldn't necessarily enter into the equation.
The sentiment has been echoed many a time that nobody at TBF should get paid, therefore save that discussion for another thread. What I'm asking is what dollar amount are we talking here, for I may have a solution, but need to know if what I have in mind is viable?
Gavin has proven himself (I believe) to be a straight-up individual, and should be able to address this delicate question in a somewhat straightforward manner.
My guess is no less than $30K USD a year, and no more than $50K USD a year, but if for some reason the sum is considerably higher, it'll still be doable, but at this penning I don't personally see it approaching $100K USD a year unless I'm missing something.
I look forward to the replies.
