This seems like a very interesting survey, although a bit big... And a big bonus for identifying clearly the institution and the Prof responsible for the study.

Masooda Bashir seems to have a PhD in Psychology. How will Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin be related to Psychology in this study?

Big hello to my Alma mater! Welcome to the Bitcoin forum! Smiley

I have done a survey with pleasure. I only wish that Crypto existed when I went to College and that I could learn and take classes about cryptocurrencies.

Good luck!

I would not count on it. Researches are usually stingy and/or doesn't have big budget. Especially cryptocurrency 'scientists'.
I never heard about paid survey, you have to do it for free and waste your time and email for that.

With all the scams going on, I'd feel iffy clicking random links and taking surveys in the name of "research".

I think bitcointalk.org should have a policy that any academic research topics posted here that requires any info from users should be approved by Theymos or someone from BCT.

Your dropdown for importance of things doesn't work. Once I selected "6" for most important I found that I wanted to reassign it. But when I changed my answer to 5, neither 5 NOR 6 were available to me for the other options. I ended up running out of choices.

More political stuff and political views about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It also goes into some things about ethics with crypto and what you use Bitcoin for.

11. For this question please choose "apple."

I choose oranges, sorry. Tongue

Just answered the survey with another machine and IP. Idk, I feel something is going on in here, but I want to help on the survey so I answered it. Good luck by the way.

Agreed. Despite this, the survey in question is pretty well identified with the institution name and the professional responsible for collecting the data. The only objection one might have is that it's not really clear where are the results going...

As for more sensitive data, you have the option of "I'd prefer not to disclose this", simply not answering, or answering things that aren't real (it would affect the demographic results of the survey though, obviously).

This survey was really long and it took a while to answer it. However, what I dislike was the first page. I didn't really want a survey related to any political, social or other issues (e.g. are you a feminist). I think that I also saw a error, it said something in the lines of "I spend half of my cryptocurrencies and spend the other half". I'm not sure though. Completed it but did not leave my email for obvious reasons.

With all the scams going on, I'd feel iffy clicking random links and taking surveys in the name of "research".
Not exactly random.

long survey, and should take it for "free", without reward..
I think you may encourage the bitcointalk users to fill out your survey at least
