IDentabit: Bitcoin Minus the Anonymity
Perhaps one of the biggest characteristics associated with bitcoin transactions is anonymity, as transaction verification occurs through a complex algorithm instead of checking identities. However, it is also this very characteristic that has made the use of bitcoin prevalent in criminal activity and underground markets, earning the ire of government officials and financial regulators.

NewsBTC really needs to learn Bitcoin is NOT anonymous. It's pseudonymous.

It's better for them to hype it up and call it anonymous... that way they can easily sell this to the ignorant public and also to governments. You cannot sacrifice the

pseudonymous nature of Bitcoin to make it more palatable for governments. It is no more pseudonymous than fiat {cash} and should be that way by design, to protect

the users financial privacy. Why do anyone need to know, when you bought something kinky for your wife at a sex shop? Nobody will use this ... We need some degree of

privacy.  Angry
