Mining with laptop isn't profitable anymore but if you want to still test -> http://www.coins2day.com/altcoins/cpu-mineable-cryptonight-coins.html

I know it´s not a very good idea to mine with a laptop, but I was wondering if there are some coins I could mine with my laptop.
Can you explain why?
Thanks
it is a bad idea... because laptops cooling systems aren't built to handle full cpu/gpu usage all day long and will likely be damaged  (ok may-be some new laptop from msi with external liquid cooling could work though... but probably a bit expensive considering what you want to do with it)

Yup this man is right. So better don't do it.

I can also back this up. Bad idea to even try regardless of your GPU or CPU.

Way back, I fried a fairly decent 4 core laptop with a gtx680M.  They simply lack the cooling to making mining possible.

Not worth it.

You can easily mine Burst coin from a laptop and not worry about heat generation.

Thanks for this option, I´ll look into it

well mining with your laptop you'll have 2 possibilities
1. it will melt your laptop al over the table
2. it will burn a hole through your table

don't keep your box of tissues on the same table when in need for cry, ... for obvious reasons lol

( immagine an acme lable stamped everywhere)  ^^

I'm glad I am not the only one who learned a hard lesson about mining on a laptop. The cooling just isn't designed to handle full loads constantly.
