It's no secret how the world's economy works - it's a balance of supply a demand. Little money is bad; a lot of money is bad; but it's always necessary to print more so that a dollar will buy what it did yesterday, adjusted for inflation. And the Earth's population needs more and more money everyday.

I do not know if I agree with the highlighted part. The problem started when we printed more money than we could afford to spend. I sometime think how this world would look like, if the dollar was still linked to gold. It would have had a much higher value, like Bitcoin has, but payment would have been a nightmare.

A expensive Bitcoin is always a good thing in my books and a $300 per bitcoin looks even better.

Very poor article in my opinion and not factually correct either.

The gold price is not fixed and yes the gold price can double under the right circumstances. Get the manipulators out of the market and you will see the true value of gold.
