Shame on instawallet - down all day with no updates and no access ?

This has been an all day affair that they are down which may happen to any site once in a great while. But what is not acceptable is the only update they give anywhere is the same message we down and check back later.

That being the only statement or explanation is not good at all. They took the time to type the message displayed type a few more lines to reassure your customers.

Instawallet is a huge player in the bitcoin community and especially when a new person comes in and is unsure of what is going on experiences something like this may likely walk away. The experience they get is if this happens I have no access to my funds period, no thank you. Not knowing this is the exception to the rule some will lose trust and walk away guaranteed.

Redirect them to a chat room or something like we do on our site when we upgrading or making changes. We have a 24 hour chat in place anyway so never would our customer not know what is going on.

Bottom line is the ONLY way it could have been handled worse is direct them to a blank page with nothing on it. Which they may as well have anyway.
