I guess, as usual it was one or more secret services plus some random extremists as scapegoats. It was pretty interesting when the well organized terrorist who even cared to put back a shoe what felt from their car, just left an ID in the same car (just like in the case of the twin towers)... and a some other anomalies like when the "terrorists" shot a police officer in the head at point blank range with an AK, but no blood at all... the mysterious suicide of an other police officer.

“Maurice Sinet, 80, who works under the pen name Sine, faces charges of “inciting racial hatred” for a column he wrote last July in the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. The piece sparked a summer slanging match among the Parisian intelligentsia and ended in his dismissal from the magazine.

You know, a whole lot of crooks have been caught like fleeing the bank they just robbed because they had a broken tail light.....

Nobody knows, but we do know that the entire thing was used for a huge propaganda coup in the wake, and France and Europe hardened slightly. The Right Wing is on the rise and it only takes a few of these incidents every few years to get people's ears up.

The walk through the streets that was exposed as a big PR stunt said a lot. Also the huge campaign that paid for all of the placards that appeared within a week of the attack.

I don't know. I'm rethinking a lot of the things that occur in the news at the moment critically.

When the Islamists first attacked Charlie Hebdo, I sympathized with the latter, as I thought that the attack was entirely disproportionate. But see their latest response to the downed Russian flight in Sinai:

Making fun of the dead children and other passengers seems extremely distasteful for me. This has nothing to do with the freedom of speech.

Sure it does. Distasteful is part of free speech. Who cares you are offended?

Your freedom ends where another's begins. Otherwise you're just another hypocrite.

Post your opinions here.

It is difficult to interpret the behavior of the staff of Charlie Hebdo. There are to many factors which affect this event and can be different point of view. If you will be a radical Muslim the art of Charlie Hebdo is a sacrilege. They adore Muhammad and for them is prohibited to make him's exposure in any way in every kind of publication. For they Muhammad it's only one and this one is sacred. Cannot be touched and for more not wagering.

If you will have another religion probably will ignore it. Have no one importance if it would be God or person for the others. For the firsts is nothing.

As for me I think that has nothing bad to make the thing that did the staff of Charlie Hebdo. Me, have not such kind of scruples. Maybe this thing even can help all the Muslims to be more moderate and more open mind. But if I will be sure that the effect of my work can be as it was and had such kind of reactions in all the world of radical Muslims I would think twice before do this cartoon. Not for the fear of the actions that can be done after (because the staff of Charlie Hebdo have such reactions ongoing) but for the respect of the feelings of some billion peoples who adore it.
