Where do the returns come from?  Are you basically paying an unknown person BTC so they can mine on your behalf?

They aren't unknown and basically your helping them fund their mining farm, so you get a return like a loan.

I invest very few bitcoins,  is a way to outsource mining power. I have not the technology nor the knowlege and time to do it myself or get into a pool.

You can get into it with a 10% bonus if you use a referral link, or a 5% without it, if you decide to generate your own piramyd. If you find referrals such bonus grows, that´s why there is so much link spamming here   Wink. How much bonus grows? It depends on how much your referrals deposit. You can also be your own referral.

It seems to be a good entrepreneur idea Cheesy

To clarify this, you get 10% of you reveals deposit (needs to be mined of course). So for every 1BTC deposited you get 0.1BTC the %Bonus than depends on your initial deposit and is not a fixed amount.

Also creating your own pyramid is no longer possible.

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

Akka, what do you mean?
I was saying this-

Quote
Without sponsor you can' t get into Pyramining

and someone told me I was wrong, that you can begin a pyramid  with a 5 %  without  sponsor  Huh  Huh Now you are making me doubt.

I am very new in Bitcoin world  (I bumped into it in September).  Would someone be able  to explain me ?

Thank you Eliale, so I was right at first.
Someone told me that a sponsor was unnecessary, so I began to say so.

Thanks Akka too. Now I have the link that confirms that.

Pyramid Scheme anyone?

It doesn't get much more obvious than that.
Think of it as more of pyramid, referral system, so if I refer you, I get a percent, and the person that referred me get a percent and all the way back to the top. Hence the pyramining
Ya, that's his point: sounds exactly like a pyramid scheme.

More like multi-level marketing...you make money not just from what you put in, but from what your downline puts in.

That said, MLMs have come under attack at times for the ways in which they're similar to pyramid schemes.
