Hello,

Im considering picking up a S7 tonight when they go on sale again.  However, I was looking at the Market and noticing the prices there for GH's might be even cheaper than a new S7.  Couple of questions.  Ive never used the market place at Hashnet.  What is the difference between the Ask/Bid.  Im assuming if I wanted to be a buyer, I would be a BIDDER?  Askers are SELLERS?  Also, just as a general rule of thumb from those of you have dipped into hashnet, whats your opinion on it?

Thanks,
James

if its cheaper on the market  buy it off the market,  the market is instant hashing  the  shop there is always an waiting period. so if u buy in the shop  u would also want to calculate the amt of sats   it would generate during the wait and just price that in as well in ur  calulations.

so the price in the shop is at  127  per has   12 days it will generate bout   7000 sats each hash.  so the price ur paying would be 134 per hash.  and if ur  going to buy s5(market) instead vs s7  , u would also price in the 12 days  so that would be 3500 sats.

Yes, u ve got it right. Just make sure you calculate in difficulty increase and potential hash price swings into your plan. Cause these two elements are what determines your profitability, whether u ll make money or not.
