Dear newbies to bitcoin.

You may have researched mining. Sadly gpu mining is becoming incredibly unprofitable.
Electricity costs are on the rise and the power a gpu uses is too high. In order to be profitable with Gpu, you must have a rig over 2 gigahash. But.... The ASIC butterfly lab jalapeño is about to come out.
Asics require low energy and produce high gigahash. The first product which is 4.5 gigahash uses 4.5 watts.
That under £10 a year!

I just thought I'd share that gpu isn't the new way forward.
