The "Horrible Horrendous Terrible Tremendous Mining Pool" run by mr. "satoshi dice" Just halved it's share 32*payout from 0.00045595 to 0.00022797, @ block 210030! Very nice gesture to tip his "suckers" with a few cents after halving. If this was an error, I'm sorry, but you have to beg to get them back!!

Just to clarify to anyone that might be misunderstanding anything, this has absolutely nothing to do with SatoshiDICE.

Sorry, same coder, different operator...

Quote from pool's website:

"I am Fireduck, the programmer behind Satoshidice. I can be reached at fireduck@gmail.com or on reddit or on the Bitcoin Forums."

My O.P. question was if the extra 30 blocks of 50BTC, after halving was a pool error, or is it an inherent processing delay in the Bitcoin network?

Block 210000 and up gave 25 BTC + transaction fees. If any pools paid out 50 BTC for those blocks that would be an error. Or a lot of transaction fees.
