i bought some moneros back in the day from poloniex. but due to the wallet being undeveloped i left it in the exchange hanging back in 2014. im checking my old emails now and i see a witdrawal from poloniex. dont remember much but i think i been messing with the wallet client but been getting frustrated with it so sort of left it.
now checking back on my wallet.bin (48LPNA9CEZi3aPzzDp8JgWAXmb1dsmuFpZiRBhxzXNW33omK3Wgt84WRNMhGVZXKnRgv4GXyFaorHWJ K7rsaHvk989Fj5xN) and in poloniex the withdrawal been made to 45ESdpPWdpX2NR5HYE4ZKKdSPdR1owwfxJEDBWcKeZPyE9vat2VBNxK1CmoVq4N5SjEtunHhQQdKKBS GHbebikgnDK4RQ5i.
i searched my whole hdd and couldnt find the wallet.bin to which the funds were withdrawn to.. transaction id is 447b8dc90d438d9519bc425528e73bf04564cae9da8321a840189c5bd2caa802
the thing is, im not that big of a noob to withdraw into a wrong address.. or am i? wanted to find out whether those funds went on somewhere else from 45ES address. thank you!
Do you remember your seed words? Hopefully you wrote them down somewhere safe. If so you can use them to recover your Monero even if you deleted wallet.bin
If you have your seed words, don't post them in this thread. Keep them secure and use this command:
simplewallet.exe --restore-deterministic-wallet *words*
