There's a twitter account with an username that an organization is after. I believe that the owner behind the twitter account will close his/her account soon so the organization can grab it. If you manage to grab the username for me instead, I give you $100 in BTC.

PM me if you have a plan on how to do this, or if you have a twitter username grabbing bot or whatever. Note that I do not know when the user will close the account. If you explain how you can do it, I give you the username, and when you've grabbed it I send you the BTC Smiley

If an orga wants a twitter name and they own the rights / domain they can just ask twitter to get it. there's no chance to grab it

I do not think it works that way in this case, for two main reasons:

1. The twitter account is several years old

2. The twitter name is not quite the name of an organization. I just know that the organization wants it.

Maybe creating a fake service called "Twitter scavenger" that resells old twitter accounts. This fake service would be based on a single web page.

The user should think that his account is not very valuable, but he can earn a bit of money for it.

If the user knows that you are searching the name, he could ask more money for it.

I think the best solution is that OP contact the owner of this Twitter account via PM and ask him for selling the account for him, giving him this price, it's probably will be a good offer for the account's owner and may complete this deal successfully

Why do not you write a script that checks in real time the url of that user's profile and as soon as it detects the "the user deleted his account" message send an email to you?, you may run such script in background, I think.

I would if I could. Can you do it? That's pretty much the reason why I am asking for help on this forum.

I stand no chance against the organization. I'll rather just wait and to the unethical username snatching Wink

If someone will hack this account, owner can find the way to proof that this is his account and take it back.. Hacking for sure is not good solution.

Sure, but what if the user never deletes the account?, are you the only one trying to grab it? (at least as far as you know).

It's me, and likely the organization. But I doubt that the organization will use bots and stuff to grab it. I try to outsmart the organization to make some money.
