Kraken is a well respected exchange. I hope everything will end up well for Kraken. It's pure shit that some people are DDoS'ing an exchange when they know it affects so many people. They obviously don't care. They just want money.
They are hoping to earn some money out of it, as evidenced by the extortion letters.. It sucks yes, but it also forces kraken to update their security, so that's a good thing.
It is also my to go exchange if I want to exchange bitcoin to fiat, so I don't want them to go down to shit like this.
