Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone knows how the most popular bitcoin gambling websites began and where they first started promoting? I've been looking around the internet and it seems like many of them stem right from this very website. Also any ideas how my partner and I can promote our website would be nice!!
I'm not sure about Satoshi mines but PrimeDice started from Bitcointalk indeed and here is their thread from 2013 and it still active till today :

PrimeDice is successful most likely because it was one of his kind for what comes to Bitcoin and that's why people aren't really changing them when a new website opens because they got the trust of the users and users are simply not interested in trying a new service which offers the same service as PrimeDice .
If you want to promote your website , you need advertising that's for sure (using signature campaigns) and you need to be creative about your project and not simply another gambling website like the others (and you may need some decent amount of money , just to start) .
