Hello all!

Just wanted to inform any possible fellow bitcoiners/gamers of a way I found to get a refund for CodeHatch products, one of the most notoriously hated game developers on Steam.

First a small background to explain to those who don't know.  CodeHatch was a game development team, that created a game called StarForge originally, promised a great many things, had people pay for founder's packs and digital deluxe editions, and then just before their release, after the community had already put thousands of dollars into the game, CodeHatch fired half their team and most of the good developers, and said that most of the things they promised were "impossible".

This of course infuriated almost every StarForge player on Steam, and on top of that, CodeHatch abandoned SF and started a new game called Reign of Kings, repeating the same exact thing they did with SF.  RoK is pretty much unplayable at this point, with the amount of hackers and lack of server management, in addition to shitty gameplay and a lot of broken promises, just like SF.

For those of you who don't know, the link I will be providing later on is actually within a group on Steam of 250+ members that have banded together and signed petitions and other things to try and force CodeHatch to refund their products, since they are outside of Steam's Refund Policy.  Many of the consumers are threatening legal action against Code Hatch.

There's your basic story of Code Hatch.  Now for the good part:

THE REFUND: I won't explain too much here, because I don't want to repeat what I've explained in the thread on Steam I will be linking, but if you visit this thread within the group on Steam I mentioned earlier, you can read what I found and possibly (hopefully) get yourself a refund if you were unhappy with CodeHatch's product(s).

Here's the link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/RARSF/discussions/0/492378806373456114/

There are a few people including myself that have received a credit via PayPal as a refund from CodeHatch.  Get yours! Smiley
