The British Empire had a huge trade deficit with China so they decided to sell huge amounts of Opium to China even by force.

Are chinese buying btc to get high? Huge volumes , price going back and forth as vendors sell their btc for fiat.

Nope, opium wars have nothing to do with BTC.
