my first time transaction - got 0.0 balance, please help!

pretty new to electrum and bitcoins, i have electrum 1.9.8 on tails.

i transfer funds from virwox to a receive address from wallet. I've waited and than saw on the block-chain that  transaction is complete got confirmations an all.
 
then when i first open the wallet it started downloading kilobytes and stuff for a while and took a lot of time to sync.  for a brief moment presented the correct balance and than nothing 0.0 balance even when the light on the bottom right was green. i tried to open close a few times, press on history and receive, open default wallet( i don't know if it was helpful) switch from auto-connect to servers but nothing

the weird thing the address which i chose is not even among the receive addresses.

please help me, thank you.
 

edit: if it helps i got the page of the blockchain with the transaction and the address saved.

Can you post the link to the transaction?

From what you are saying it seems like there is a 'problem' with the wallet and not the transaction itself. You mention that the receiving address you used does not appear in the wallet. If that is the case then you have the wrong wallet open or you perhaps used the wrong address or an address from another wallet.

Is there perhaps another wallet file on your pc? If so open it and see if the funds did not perhaps go to that wallet. Check is the receiving address is in that wallet.

Only other thing I can think of to do is to delete the wallet file (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE BACKUP SEED) and to restore it again to see if that perhaps work.

Not sure whether Tails might have something to do with it, have not worked with it before.

i have now downloaded electrum to my regular windows and restored my wallet from seed.

the receive address does appear there and also in the transaction history.

but i added 0.191BTC and the balance shows 191mBTC...why is that?

on that receive address the balance shows 191 and to the right on the TX it show 1.

a little confused here, why is that?

edit: and i now double checked the blockchin and it shows there the correct amount 0.191(80$) so i know i didn't make a mistake when i made the the transaction.

EDIT 2: WELL FUCK ME, i just changed the base unit on preferences to BTC. THANKS ALOT.
 
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHY MY TAILS WALLET IS NOT PRESNTEING THE CORRECT ADDRESSES AND BALANCE?

You can change the unit being displayed in the settings of Electrum.

Go to Tools -> Preferences -> Appearance (on the tabs) -> Base Unit

Change that to BTC
