I just want to take a moment on behalf of the Free Talk Live crew to thank whoever sent FTL 39.99 BTC tonight!  Shocked Shocked Shocked

(If you haven't heard FTL, it's a nightly radio show/podcast now on over 100 radio stations across the U.S. Industry magazine TALKERS has ranked it for several years in a row; this year FTL moved up to #79.)

Most of the FTL crew have been somewhere between curious and highly supportive of Bitcoin, not to mention freedom in general. One of FTL's advertisers, MemoryDealers, has also been very supportive of Bitcoin and ran some radio ads during the show, which you've probably heard about.

If you haven't heard Free Talk Live before, I hope you'll give it a listen, throw it into iTunes or whatever you listen to podcasts with, and ask your local radio station to pick up the show.

Also, to clarify something important - Roger Ver from Memorydealers is awesome.  He decided to stop advertising his own business, and spend the same amount advertising Bitcoin.  He, and therefore Bitcoin, are currently our biggest sponsor.

Error and Roger, y'all should meet up at Porcfest.

While we are giving thanks, thanks be to the Silk Road for giving me reason to catch the at least a portion of the vision of Bitcoin.  If only I'd been wise enough to buy them when I first got jazzed about them.   Roll Eyes

I would never have heard of bitcoin if I weren't an FTL listener. FTL deserves the bitcoin community's support.

Also, Ian - congrats to you and Mark for breaking the 100 affiliate barrier! (It is a barrier, right? Can we expect a greater rate of growth now?)

Actually, as I think I stated in my email update (sign up here http://updates.freetalklive.com ), we got 50 in five years and 50-100 in two.

I would say it's a milestone rather than a barrier.  The barrier is getting the first five.

Hi Ian!

Just sent you guys one coin. If anyone deserves free market money, it's FTL (and the Free State Project of course) Heard about the FSP from you, and about Bitcoin from someone in the FSP... so it makes sense to send you a coin as thanks.

See y'all at PorcFest!

PS- if you try MyBitcoin.com (online wallet service) you can use their payment/donate button - might be a good fit for your website?

Maybe a bitcoin table in agora alley would be wildly successful at the next porcfest ?

I asked shire silver awhile ago if they would produce silver cards with a custom bitcoin logo on them to sell around new hampshire. Even better if you could sell them for bitcoins Smiley
