Microcash will be released before Jan. 1, 2013

Statement: http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=810

Details:

The Solidcoin upgrade to the Microcash system has been promised for quite a while. A beta should be available "in the near future", but that has yet to materialize.

This statement will be considered accurate if, and only if, the Microcash system is consumer-functional by January 1, 2013.

Consumer functional means:

1. A working client is freely available.
2. The Microcash server node is operational and clients can connect to it.
3. A process is in place to convert Solidcoins to Microcash units, that is not a beta or test state. In other words, converted Solidcoins must remain Microcash units within the Microcash system. Test or Beta conversions do not count.

Between the execution of this statement and Jan. 1, if the developers determine that Microcash WILL NOT carry over Solidcoins, only items #1 and #2 from the list must be TRUE and item #3 will be considered moot. In all other cases, items #1, #2 and #3 must be true.

Info
Opening date:
Bet deadline: Dec. 25, 2012 end of day Eastern Time
Event date: Jan. 1, 2013 end of day Eastern Time
Category: Economics
Total initial agree bets: 0.25

Sorry all... this is my first statement.  The link is correct, however, it's waiting on approval.  Once it's approved, I'll respond to this post.

FYI, months have past since anyone has heard anything from the Microcash devs.  This is beginning to look like a lost project.

Still, some hold hope that something is still going on.  The Microcash.com website, forum and webchat is still being maintained, so maybe there is hope.

bump.

Ok, we have about 5 days left until the end! .25 BTC has been bet that it will be released while .65 is betting against.  It looks like the odds are not in favor of Microcash being released.  Grab a small chunk of the .25BTC pie while you can.
