I found my seed words and restored my wallet (finally)...it kept asking for a password, even though I never set a password in the first place. Anyway, I first restored it on my phone, and it said I was using a non-hexadecimal digit, which I wasn't. Then, I got it restored on my computer and tried to set it up without a password....simply wouldn't go through, even though it seemed to be fine. It would let me press send, but wouldn't actually send. I can send you some BTC if you can help me. There's a nice piece of BTC on there, so I'm kinda desperate.

Should I just wait until tomorrow and see if the new password, or lack thereof in this case, shows up?

Btw, I'm using 1.5.5, flatfly...the newest version. Before that, I was using elec11-f575.exe, and that's the one I originally created the seed with.

Ok, I switched back to the old client (elec11-f575.exe) that I used to generate the wallet in the 1st place. It's now showing as having gone through, albeit it with 0 confirmations. I'll keep this thread updated for those with the same problem. I'm still not sure I'm out of the woods, but this is the first time anything has shown up in the transaction list.

I have two transactions waiting, but still no confirmations. Any help would be much appreciated. I guess I'll just wait until tomorrow and see if they finally go through. Here's a link to the screenshot of my client (http://imgur.com/uU5Iw). Hopefully it goes through....will update tomorrow.

I now have two confirmation on both transactions, and all seems to be working well. My 5 1/2 hour odyssey is finally over! Hopefully this thread will help someone with my problem in the future.

You just helped me.  It was letting me press send and then not doing anything until I downgraded to 1.5.4

there was a bug with send in 1.5.5.
I released version 1.5.6 to fix that problem
