Someone doesn't know the difference between "Bitcoin" and "Bitcoin Foundation" and "Bitcoin Central" Roll Eyes.

This is why I think the name "Bitcoin" should never be put into company names. Walmart is not called Dollar Walmart, nor is the Bank of America called the American Bank of Dollar.

Let the second wave of confusion and misunderstanding begin.

I've often had similar thoughts.

While I'm a fan of what BitPay has accomplished I think Paysius has a better name. It speaks directly to what businesses want - to get paid.

To your point, the company started as Paymium, then registered Paytunia as the brand name to go beyond the circle of the bitcoiners. Bitcoin-central is a sort of oxymoron anyway but it has historic value for us, die-hard bitcoiners. Paytunia and bitcoin-central share the same backend app.

Don't forget the "Bitcoin site, that has been under investigation".

"It will also mean balances held in euros by Bitcoin will be subject to the same protection and compensation laws as cash held in conventional banks."

Yes.. the great Bitcoin company will hold the money, that's totally how it works.

Most confused article on Bitcoin ever. It is really clear that some people have a set of boxes that they put things in and if it doesn't fit they will damn well get it to fit Cheesy

The writer Miss Kiss clearly did get the distinction between bitcoins and bitcoin-central.net
