Just a few days ago, the Central Bank of Kenya issued a warning against the use of Bitcoin and other digital currencies. It should come as no surprise this warning had an adverse effect, as Bitcoin adoption is growing in the country. When it comes to cheap international money transfers to and from Kenya, there is no better option than using Bitcoin.
http://themerkle.com/news/bitcoin-boom-kenya-happening-right-now/Well isn't that mostly the case?
When government and banks say, now in terms of Bitcoin, not to use it, the readers ask themselves why not.
Then they start to read and inform themselves, talk with people who already do Bitcoin and might decide to use it as well.
So this was nice advertisement by the government I would say.
The people are not dumb!!They have a sense for things which smell fishy. And government and banks are often doing and saying fishy things.
If a bankster would tell me not to do Bitcoin, I'd think I better will do Bitcoin!
