no signin will not prevent bot. you need to make strong captcha to prevent bot. Bot can very fast create script to login to your site.

i think you can search the scrypt for free already in the forum, but personally i use faucet with login, only if have really a good rewards (minimum 800-1000 satoshi every hour) and pay immediatly (no faucet when later i have claim, for withdraw i can request another time and add another captcha)

Yup. Non-faucet owners don't know the pain of preventing bots. I don't plan to do any thing with the emails I get, just to prevent bots.

100$ is not expensive for fully working script :d
But anyway registration prevent bots a little bit but a lot of real people don't want to register on faucets with register because you can easily steal passwords etc.

But anyway better is to use antibot scripts. And 2-3 captchas.

This is the dilemma for the faucet owner. when we not use log in the system , bot can be very disturbing. But when we try to use it, some people don't believe and think we will steal their data. Maybe my suggest is better to get some trust from visitor then you can use some log in system

I Think owner can block some address after know the address seem use to spaming fauct.
or oner can give highest minimum payout.

OP seems to be asking for an email-based login system which is something that your own site smashbtc.com doesn't seem to have.
