Solo mining - GUIMIner and Bitcoin Wallet - Notification in SOLO Mode?

Hi guys,

Yes, I also have 2 PC's in a mining pool, but wanted to try solo mining just for fun.

Quick question, after a year or so  ()  how does one get alerted or know you generated a block? Will GUIMiner automatically SEND the bitcoins to my Wallet? Do one of those proggies pop up an alert, or what? Thanks for any clarification.
