Hello. I guess, for the higher altcoin prices we have need:

1. Close mining for altcoin.

2. Close altcoin faucets.

Peoples starts buying altcoins for real money or bitcoins. What is your minds guys, about that?

1. if nobody is mining? then what will happen with all the POW-Coins? => nope

2. faucets dont change anything. btw: who uses a faucet? => nope.

1 and 2 don't affect the price.

Lol at removing PoW. And an even bigger lol at thinking faucets have a sigificant coin emision rate because they definitely do not.

PoS is a joke and for higher altcoin prices you need one simple thing; more buyers than sellers.

Not your keys, not your coins!

PoS is for real investors. Earning a percentage of commission by just leaving the wallet open is good reason to not dump all of your coins as soon as you get them. That's why PoW/PoS hybrids are the best imo.

What I think destroys the pricing the most is a kind of airdrop and massive giveaway. Also if there are to many bounties around for just copy paste jobs are 10 minutes jobs. You probably don’t want to hear it here, but the thing to get value for coins is a ICO where the coins need to be bought from the very begin. Think about Nxt and IOTA and how the increased in value. Because nobody wanted to dump something below you initial price. It’s like a floor what helps to give the coin value from the very begin. But I know miners and most parts of the community are not in favor of ICO coins.
