BTC 0.003 can be redeemed at coinplace.tk after entering the Mining Guide page.

Figure out how to do that and codes and instructions have been placed on the site.

There are 6 giveaways up for grabs! This promotion will be removed in 24 hours.

This is my first post on this famous BTC Forum Site. And Benson Samuel, you're probably the most recognised name in India for BTC, have seen your posts in many places since i got into BTC 10 days ago. I actually registered here as i wanted to post in this AMAZING thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

but i think it is reserved for people who are seniors on this site or something, as i can't find a reply button on that thread. It isn't locked as someone posted there on 27 Feb 2013.

Well, good to be here.

Hi Knight22,
I'm looking to try the process of buying BTC through Netbanking - holding it for a while - selling BTC - transferring funds back to bank account. The only easy place for buying BTC right now seems to be Localbitcoins.com and there is only 1 seller there with ratings (Bit_India). He is asking for over 3k INR per BTC, which i think is almost a 50% markup on the current price but it's okay for me since i just want to buy 1 BTC and see how the pathways for INR-BTC-INR work. Will i be able to sell that 1 BTC on Mt. Gox (i verified my account there) and get a bank transfer back to my account?

Best,
Karan

If you got it verified and have a bank account linked, it should not be too much of a problem.

Also try buysellbitco.in and rbitco.in

Don't you have a website for this?

Coin sales are a lot faster when done with a website rather than forums.

I dont have time for web sites and thing like that, and that does not worth an effort as indian cumulative buying capacity for bitcoins very low. I sale bitcoins on mtgox and bitstamp pretty fast and without any need for emailing communicating and staff like that. From time to time somebody will appear from nowhere and buy for 2-3L and gone forever. Not like a regular business. That is why I guess Bit_India and Mr Butcoin ask such high price. they do not sale a lot, and to keep profitable, margin have to be high.

I can help with website design if you want. Smiley
I can setup something simple for you to work with and we can look at making the site more functional if it does well.
I do want Bitcoin to spread like wild fire across India.

Do let me know.

thank you very much, but I will prefer to sale on mtgox, simple and no headache. Also making website hardly can help in spreading bitcoins in India. it is really hard to say what factors may contribute to integration of alternative money as acceptable payment system into society. it is up to people or end users to give a final verdict. one example from Africa not remember which country but in one African country payment through mobile phone become wide spread and very popular. When that company tried to introduce same system in neighbor country, no success people just refused to use it. I guess just slight difference in culture and different outcome for the whole program.

In india people very good in counting money and  if use of bitcoins will provide some savings people will adopt bitcoins and will use it.
