On gambling/betting sites such as cloudbet, there are "US Total" and "Total" lines, as well as "US Spread" and "Spread". What is the difference? Is there a page somewhere which details those differences?

From what I see on Cloudbet, US Total lines are round numbers (202, 203) while 'Total' are decimals, such as 202.5, 206.5. Most often you'll be seeing 'US Total" lines, while the others are just alternatives.

Thanks for your reply! I'm not sure that's it, for instance, on Ohio State Buckeyes V Maryland Terrapins, cloudbet offers the following:

For totals,

US Total
Over 137.5   1.95

Total
Over 137.5   1.90

For spreads,

US Spread
Ohio State Buckeyes +4.5   1.97

Points Spreads
Ohio State Buckeyes +4.5   1.89

And also, inexplicably:

Total Spreads
Over 137.5   1.90

This last one happens to match "Total" (1.90 for both) but offers many more totals (e.g. 135.5), so I think it's coincidence. I'd be glad know an explanation for all of these Smiley

Well it seems like the US versions have better odds, so just use them then. Tongue
