Hi, my first post here. Smiley

I've recently had to restore my wallet.dat to bitcoin-qt after hard drive failure.

I've since received coins to some of the old addresses in my wallet and although they show up on the blockchain and my client is up to date they are not appearing in my wallet.

Is there something more I need to do?

Firstly have you checked your list of "receive addresses" to see if the addresses you are referring to are listed in your "restored" client?

*Slaps head*
Some just showed up, so hopefully the rest will appear soon.

The wallet backup is only 48 hours out of date, so all my old addresses are showing. Noticed some slightly odd behavior, renamed the label on 1 address and it created a new address, so my client is showing 2 addresses with the same label now. Huh

Don't worry about the labels - unfortunately they are not as useful as you might think.

Hopefully you'll have all your BTC back soon. Smiley
