That is slush's pool -- the first mining pool created...

I mined with them for a long time -- and really like their dashboard...

Having said that, their luck has been horrible lately -- and I've moved on...

As for which pool is best -- organofcorti puts together a weekly statistic report (which I've found very useful)...

The link for last weeks is: http://organofcorti.blogspot.com/2015/12/december-20th-2015-mining-pool.html

Best of luck!!!

Bitminter is who I've personally been mining with...

And have had better luck there than either slush or antpool (my personal experience)...

I'm a little concerned lately that their hashing power is insufficient with the recent rises in difficulty -- but, maybe they're just having a down week or two...

Kano.IS is also a well regarded pool...

I'm also looking forward to bravo-mining.com maturing into an awesome pool...

I'm certainly not one to recommend one pool over another -- and I'm no expert, just someone who stumbles his way through -- above is just based on my experience...

I can corroborate what's said here...although for "real" pool mining (I'm running solo at the moment), I found Slush to be my favorite. Luck is as it is. Overall, the dashboard and stats are way cool, payouts are handled well, etc. I was (w/spot at around $450) making around US$200/mo...but I don't pay for electricity, and that reward was with 3Th.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

I have used slush for quite some time now. Payout is always on the next hour after you reach your payout thresh hold.   Love the dashboard.  Been somewhat modeling the one I have been working on after it.  It is defiantly has the most user friendly stats all on the main page and is good and easy to understand for beginners.

This is what finally had me decide on slush: the dashboard they use. Easy for us beginners to understand, with very useful help/tutorial pages.

As I'm coming to understand things more, I am considering kano.is however. It seems luck isn't equal, and is dependent on h/w, s/w and internet connection amongst other things. Yes, only a few % points difference, but when you're talking about microBTC payouts, those few % points can matter.

Yes Kano is the good choice, create a username and mine and forget. The next day you will see payments rolling in
