So, I recently started trading on localbitcoins again doing local cash trades. Today, something funny happened that has soured the experience. I've been on the site since its inception, have 24 trades completed and perfect feedback.

Someone initiated a trade for cash with me and I asked them where they were located. Then he said he was sorry and that he thought it was online. So I asked if he could do a BoA deposit. Then, out of nowhere, thomas.localbitcoins suspends my account because I didn't have escrow enabled.

  • First off, it was just a question and there was no response yet that the buyer was even interested in doing a deposit.
  • Second, if he had, I would have enabled escrow for him.
  • Third, where in the TOS does it explain this as a consequence?
  • Fourth, is this appropriate when I have perfect feedback for over 3 years on here?
