Hi!

I'm planning to build my first rig. I was wondering if this build was legit.

HARDWARE
ASRock 890 GX Extreme 4 AM3 w/ 3 PCI-E 2.0 slots
HIS H695FN2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity X 2
XFX PRO750W XXX Edition Semi-Modular 80Plus Silver 750 Watt Power Supply
AMD Athlon X2 245 2.9 Ghz AM3 processor
2 GB Crucial DDR3 1067 memory
Western Digital Caviar WD800BB 80GB 7200 RPM 2MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Hard Drive -Bare Drive

I plan to overclock the cards and underclock the cpu. I also plan to boost the 6950 to unlocked 6970.

Any tips?

Should be ok, but make sure you get the 6950's that are the reference model, else you won't be able to unlock them.

TY! I checked here http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/159 and it seems to be ok. Is there anything  I can swap for cheaper ? Any peripherals missing ? crossfire cables ?
