Mac wallet compile help

hey everyone, i just recently compiled a wallet on mac on el capitan version 10.11.3 and i am having a friend test them on a clean mac with 11.4 installed and he is getting the following error message when he runs it

  Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libpng16.16.dylib
  Referenced from: /Applications/SproutsExtreme.app/Contents/Frameworks/QtGui.framework/Versions/4/QtGui
  Reason: Incompatible library version: QtGui requires version 38.0.0 or later, but libpng16.16.dylib provides version 25.0.0
Could be my machine

the file being referenced is in the the app itself but for some reason he keeps getting that error

i guess no one knows how to tell the app to look for libpng16.16.dylib inside itself?
