I needed a password manager app that wouldnt back up my data to the god forsaken "Cloud" So i made my own.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skyking.skilo.superpasswordmanager&hl=en

I know it's lacking a few features like database import but i will add them in the next release.

I have some free codes you can use to redeem the app for free:

PM me for a code. Thanks.

Because google wont even index the app on the playstore unless it has reviews and at least 10 downloads.

Thanks for offering your app to us. However, in my opinion, I would not feel safe entrusting my own credentials to you as your app MAY contain malicious line of codes.

I'd rather write my log-in details on a piece of paper and store it somewhere else safe. Everyone! Think twice before handing in your log-in details and stuff. All things are possible in the internet. It may destroy your life for sure. Smiley

My app has been approved by google, Google screens all the code before they publish it.

But never the less i understand you concern.

Why didn't you just go for 1Password or KeePass? Both operate offline (unless you want to store your password database on something like Dropbox).

Also, why would I prefer your app over theirs?

My app doesn't store the database on the SD card where other apps can access it, Doesn't require any network permissions, Doesn't transmit anything to the cloud, Backs up in the actual database file and not just a useless CSV file. And it only costs 99cents compaired to others that cost like $4. Also it's design makes it simple and intuitive to use.

Here's 5 codes:

GYS5RY619U0TR67HTRXTK1P
6XKRFUWCVH1Q02GCLT08EEK
AADKLH3U66GXKQTTZNEJDTE
37UBUL4CW4NST0H46L7MXKG
SDGZ3SB7901MCRZZF81KRP8

Try it out for yourself and if you don't like it just uninstall it, I'm just looking for some reviews and to get the app indexed.

Where does it store the database if not on the SD-card and how can you prevent others app's from accessing it (and what about apps that have root rights)?

Also, 1Password and KeePass are both free and they both don't use a CSV file, no idea where you got that from. I'm trying to understand why your app would be better.

Mine stores the database in the apps data directory which is on the phones built in storage others apps cannot access another apps data directory.

It's possible a root app can access it but rooting a phone has been known to open the door for security exploits so that would be advised against, Even Google advises against rooting your phone.

Like i said, I'm just looking to get the app indexed, Use it or don't.
