I attempted to sync with the Ether network by downloading the wallet and chose to abort after 3 days and many hangs.
However, now there is a large folder of Ethereum files in AppData, some of which my antivirus is flagging as malware. I suspect false positives.
I want to uninstall this wallet, but it does not show up in Programs and Features; so, I have to do it piece by piece.
So, what I want to know is if the Ethereum wallet is notorious for causing antivirus to flag, like the Bitcoin Core wallet is, apparently?
The 2 files that AVG came up with are -
C:\Users\L**t\AppData\Roaming\Ethereum\geth\chaindata\018709.ldb
C:\Users\L**t\AppData\Roaming\Ethereum\geth\chaindata\118445.ldb
Why would it flag only those 2?
If I delete the folders, will something else break?
