I have recently changened my computers connection from wireless (which ran my full node previously) to a wired connection.  i have not been able to allow core to connect to inbound connections via a wired connection.  i allowed port forwarding on my router and have checked everywhere on avast to make sure it is not blocking it.... what am i missing?

Check your port forwarding. With a wired connection instead of wireless it is likely that your ip address has changed so your router port forwarding will need to be changed.

Yeah, I've had this problem when I try to connect my Macbook which runs Core through a public hotspot. Forward your ports and you should be fine.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

Manually configure your router to one of the open ports .Usually its 8333.As mentioned you have provided access via Avast, if you're using windows try the default firewall options as well. What router do you have ? The dynamic IP address won't be considerable while port forwarding, try configuring the ports via your Internal address.
